Action Education takes up the challenge of presenting its mission in 3 minutes

On 8 December, Action Education visited the premises of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG), as part of the event: the "7h30 de la chambre".

Amplifying the voices of socio-economic actors

An association under private law, independent of the State, the CCIG's objective is to ensure a strong economy, enabling the players who make up the local economic fabric to carry out their activities in a sustainable manner. The Chamber's 7.30am and 5.30pm are the CCIG's essential networking events. The 7.30 a.m. and its morning formula are an opportunity to start the working day gently. The aim of the game? 8 to 10 companies/associations present themselves in three minutes. The audience must save their questions for the breakfast part of the event, which also provides an opportunity to network.

In this context, Action Education presented its mission, while focusing on one of our flagship projects in Laos. This project aims to improve access to quality pre-school and primary education. We are working in 30 schools in the provinces of Vientiane and Oudomxay. Among other things, the project allows us to build a classroom, improve access to drinking water and sanitary systems, install school kitchens and plant school gardens. More than 5,000 children, including 2,500 girls, 237 teachers, educators and 1,764 parents and community members are involved.

We warmly thank the CCIG for this invitation, which allowed us to familiarise the general public with the mission of the association, but above all with the importance of infrastructures that are indispensable for quality education.
