Environment: a new threat to education

Floods, cyclones, droughts... extreme weather events are on the rise. As a result, schools are closing, household economic difficulties are increasing, and children are forced to abandon their studies to help their families.

After the economic and financial crisis of 2008, which forced governments to cut education budgets, the education sector is now facing a new threat.

In its new report "Hot on Education", Aide et Action International looks at climate change. This phenomenon has a huge impact on education, but is still little documented and known.

And yet, in the face of climate change, education could well be the solution...
