Gilles Delecourt

A graduate in tropical agronomy from the University of Gembloux (Belgium), Gilles Delecourt began his career in 1998 as Desk Officer at Caritas France.

Gilles Delecourt then worked for various NGOs, including Handicap International for fifteen years, where he successively held the positions of Country Director in Angola and Mozambique, Regional Director for the Maghreb and finally Director of Technical Resources.

He then joined the United Nations Mine Action Service until 2022.

Ines El-Shikh

Master's degree in physics and astrophysics from the University of Geneva, Ines very early in her career, she turned to the voluntary sector, above all out of personal conviction and a taste for exchange. She joined Aide et Action in 2021 as a fundraiser and donor relations officer, after more than seven years in a similar position in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Shukri Ahmed

Shukri Ahmed

Shukri holds a BA in History and Arabic Studies from the University of Geneva and completed her training with an MA in Transnational History.

Since then, she has worked in the field of communication for NGOs and human rights associations in Bern and Geneva.

Shukri joined Action Education in 2019 and is in charge of the association's communication.

Stefano Maggi

Stefano Maggi

Stefano holds a BA in Modern and Contemporary History and an MA in International Relations. He studied at Queen Mary University of London and at the IHEID (Graduate Institute) in Geneva.

Since then, he has worked for various actors in the philanthropic world in Geneva, notably for SwissFoundations, the association of Swiss donor foundations.

Stefano joined Action Education in 2016 and is currently in charge of the association's partnerships.

After several years in film distribution in charge of marketing and partnerships for major French and American studios, from MK2, Pathe and EuropaCorp to Twentieth Century Fox, Julie continues to make its way in the world of partnerships in the service of the general interest. The rest of the time? She leads philosophical workshops for children in order to think about life skills and living together.
