15th Edition of the Rufisquois de l'AN: Libasse NDOYE receives the trophy for the young leader of the future

Libasse NDOYE    On Friday 14 July 2023, the department of Rufisque organised a gala dinner to select the winner of the Young Leader of the Year award. The ceremony was attended by leading figures from the Rufisque commune and its partners. The winner was Libasse NDOYE, President of the Rufisque Communal Youth Council. Libasse is in charge of the Rufisque commune's youth platform as part of the ACTE Afrique project. "I give thanks to Allah for this distinction, which is the reward for all our efforts in community involvement and all the services rendered to the people of Rufisque. I would like to thank the initiators of the Rufisquois de l'An for choosing me, and I would also like to thank all the people who have contributed to my training and personal development. I can mention the NGO Action Education. I would like to remind everyone of the need to contribute to the marketing and sustainable development of Rufisque. Once again, I am grateful to my beloved city", declared Libasse NDOYE on receiving the trophy.

As a reminder, the commune of Rufisque is a partner in the ACTE Afrique project in Senegal. Libasse NDOYE, President of the Communal Youth Council, is in charge of the youth platform. As such, he has benefited from the training courses organised as part of the project. Hence his leadership, which has made him the most prominent young person in 2023 in the municipality through his dynamic leadership of the Municipal Youth Council.

On 11 June 2025, Aide et Action/Action Education expressed its gratitude and recognition to the five vocational training centres that welcomed the 10 internally displaced young people for their vocational training as part of the emergency micro-project. The recognition ceremony was presided over by the High Commissioner of the Sissili province, Mr Isaak Tewendé SIA.

PAIE-S: 2,227 pupils made aware of early pregnancy and sexual violence

Raising awareness of teenage pregnancy in schools 3

As part of the project to support educational initiatives in the Savanes region (PAIE-S), information and awareness-raising tours on early pregnancy in schools were organised from 17 to 19 April 2025 in 9 secondary schools. This was also an opportunity to explain the text of Law No. 2022-20 of 02 December 2022 on the protection of learners against sexual violence in Togo.
