The "From Convention to Action" dynamic, of which Aide et Action has been a member since its creation in 2019, has published "Children and young people want to be heard". A booklet in which more than 700 young people formulate proposals for the presidential candidates of 2022.
The 25 member organizations of the "From Convention to Action" Dynamics, including Aide et Action, are mobilizing to ensure that children and youth are not forgotten in the 2022 elections. On this occasion, they have published "Children and young people want to be heard". A booklet that gathers the proposals of more than 700 young people, from 7 to 25 years old, collected via a national consultation spread in France on social networks from July to December 2021.
With this publication, the Dynamics of the Convention to the Acts is relaying the voice of the children. And the least we can say is that they have no shortage of ideas or advice for the future president. First and foremost, they express their desire and need to be more involved in political decisions and confide in us about their feeling of not being listened to enough. Girls and boys also explain the changes they would like to see in society, making concrete proposals on issues as varied as education, climate, health and society.

As a reminder, the "From the Convention to the Acts" dynamic had already elaborated 12 acts with children and young people in 2019 in order to formulate concrete proposals for a better effectiveness of children's rights in France and internationally for political decision-makers. On the occasion of the 2022 presidential and legislative elections, it is mobilising to put the issue of childhood back at the heart of public debates. In particular, it has published a position paper for candidates on the creation of a Ministry for Children and Youth, as well as a fictional video to raise public awareness of the importance of this ministry.
