Aide et Action is fortunate to be able to count on a volunteer network that is as active as it is motivated to carry and defend the cause of education throughout France! If you also want to get involved but are wondering about our association, its missions and the roles of volunteers, there is nothing better than to attend our next information meetings which will take place in the Ardennes and in Loire-Atlantique.
In France, nearly 250 volunteers are involved in 25 local teams spread all over the country. They are true ambassadors for Aide et Action and the cause of education, and organize a variety of events and actions every year. A volunteer team consists of a minimum of 3 people. Joining an existing team or creating a new one is a way to act locally, all year long.
Being informed is already taking action
If you also want to get involved but are wondering about our association, its missions and the role of volunteers, we invite you to come and attend our next information meetings which will be held in March, in the presence of local team coordinators and Aide et Action employees. On the agenda: presentation of the NGO; presentation of local volunteering, missions and actions proposed by the local volunteer team; questions and answers.
The first meeting will take place in Charleville-Mézières in the Ardennes (08), on Thursday 19 March, from 6pm to 8pm, at the Salle Maison des Associations, former town hall of Mohon*, rue Jean Moulin. Our Mobile Libraries project in Cambodia will be presented. (*at the corner of rue Jean Moulin and rue Monseigneur Loutil, opposite the Place de Mohon, where the Saint-Lié de Mohon church is located).
The second will take place in Pornichet in Loire-Atlantique (44), on Tuesday 24 March, from 6pm to 8pm, at the Maison des Associations-Espace Camille Flammarion, 7 Boulevard de la République. The focus will be on the theme of education and socio-professional integration of vulnerable and marginalised populations in precarious housing, with the example of a project currently being carried out in France.
