Strengthening the social and professional integration of young single mothers
In Madagascar, almost a third of girls aged between 15 and 19 have at least one child. They are generally excluded from the education system with a very low level of education and are rejected by society. As a result, they and their children find themselves destitute, with no psychological or financial support. Action Education has therefore made access to quality education and socio-professional training and integration one of its priorities in order to support the most vulnerable populations, particularly young girls.
To support this project :
The aim of the project
The aim of the project is to provide psychosocial, educational and professional support for young single mothers from disadvantaged areas in the 1st, 3rd and 4th arrondissements of the Antananarivo Urban Community (CUA), and to do everything possible to promote their social, economic and civic integration. The project includes psychosocial support (including addressing gender-based violence), self-affirmation activities, training and support for integration, as well as mentoring services and monitoring of their integration project.
