In response to the COVID 19 crisis, Aide et Action with support from Shillong Expressway Private Limited has implemented a project titled “Jingkyrshan” that aims to improve health care services in the Ribhoi district, Meghalaya.

Aide et Action in collaboration with State Child Protection Society, Assam and UNICEF celebrated Care Givers’ day on 12th September 2021 to appreciate and acknowledge the contributions of the care givers working in the Child Care Institutions (CCIs).

The fear of COVID19 vaccine is real. In spite of the roll out of COVID19 vaccine in January 2021, the total population vaccinated in India stands at a mere 10.4%. Vaccine Hesitancy is one of the major reasons for such low turnout, particularly in the rural areas.

Mentoring Matters - Virtual Youth Volunteering Campaign by Microsoft Philanthropies for 12 hours from 8 am to 8 pm was scheduled on August 12, 2021, during the International Youth Day. The iLEAD trainees who are undergoing skill training at the Microsoft supported iLEAD centres got an opportunity to interact one-on-one with the mentors who motivated them to aim high in life.

Seven-year-old Avya was overwhelmed when she accompanied her mother Leena in the fashion catwalk organized as part of the course completion ceremony by Aide et Action.
