Prof. Rajiva Wijesinha

Prof. Wijesinha is currently the Chairman of Tertiary Vocational Education Commission of Sri Lanka.

A former professor of English, Prof Wijesinha served as the State Minister for Higher Education, Sri Lanka.

He also served as the Secretary General of the Peace Secretariat of Sri Lanka and was a member of Parliament in Sri Lanka.

A noted social and rural development activist, Dr Rukmini Rao is working with women at many levels of Indian society but particularly with the poor, underpriviledged and vulnerable.

She was conferred with “WOMAN OF THE YEAR – 2014” award by “THE WEEK”.

Mr. Sharad Chandra Behar

Mr. Sharad Chandra Behar, a passionate patron of Education, Gandhian philosophy and its vision, ardently believes that ‘Education’ is the key to social change. While serving the India Administrative Service (1961-1997) he also actively engaged in constructive activism and academics in pursuance of his mission for social transformation. Acutely conscious of the limitations of the government system, he associated and supported important people’s movements, struggles and voluntary organisations. Being both part of the government and the people’s struggles, he was the bridge for constructive collaboration in the larger interest of the underprivileged and marginalised.

Mr.Behar, has held all important positions in the departments of Education, Labour Welfare and development of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes. He is the founder Vice Chancellor of Guru Ghasi Das University, Bilaspur (1983 – 87), now upgraded as a Central University and was the Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism, Bhopal (1999 – 2004), of which the Vice President of India was the visitor.

Ms Vibha Puri Das (IAS) was the Former Secretary in the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

Prior to this posting, she was Additional Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) and Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and Executive Director, Central Social Welfare Board.
