World Teachers Day celebrated by Teachers Resource Group

The Teachers Resource Group (TRG) formed by Aide et Action celebrated the ‘World Teachers Day’ on 5th October in a unique way. More than 80 teachers, who are part of the TRG, visited the government primary schools under the ‘Schooling & Learning Improvement Project’ in Balaghat district, Madhya Pradesh and interacted with the teachers and children. The group was led by Dr. Damodaer Jain (TRG Coordinator), Dr. Avneesh Kumar Singh (Ex Director of State Institute of Rural Development), Mr. Pravin Upadhaya (Block Resource coordinator) and 4 Cluster Academic Coordinators. The group shared their experiences with the teachers in Balaghat. They also were visibly happy to know about many initiatives of AEA to strengthen the quality of education in this region.

Mentoring Matters - Virtual Youth Volunteering Campaign by Microsoft Philanthropies for 12 hours from 8 am to 8 pm was scheduled on August 12, 2021, during the International Youth Day.
