At Aide et Action, we believe in the power of education to raise awareness among young people, to free them from prejudices and to prepare them to live together in tolerance. Education is key to leading younger generations towards peaceful citizenship and solidarity. Holding this belief, we developed our junior magazine from 2015 to 2018 to contribute towards development through education. After a brief hiatus, we’re back with our latest issue which is special report on education in times of crisis.
Our latest Junior Magazine shares feelings and opinions on the COVID-19 pandemic from children around the world. We collaborated with dozens of students from grades 3 to 8, that is primary school to high school, as well as others working in education in Benin, Burkina Faso, France, India, Nepal, Romania, Vietnam, Senegal and Togo.
Children are citizens like everyone else, with rights and opinions that must be respected and we believe it is essential to give them a platform to enable them to voice their opinions and concerns. We hope you enjoy reading them.
A big thank you to all children worldwide that participated in this special junior magazine!
