Volunteering is a concrete way of working alongside Action Education to strengthen our local impact, give crucial visibility to our cause and become a driving force behind our association. Volunteering is much more than just a helping hand, it's the beating heart of our organisation!
Volunteering at Action Education
Action Education uses its volunteer network to mobilise citizens around educational issues and international solidarity in support of its mission to provide access to education for the most vulnerable.
Why are you involved with Action Education in France?
We are convinced that education is changing the world and that it lies at the heart of human development, the defence of fundamental rights and the emancipation of every individual.-e, regardless of gender or age. It will enable citizens-We want to help the people of tomorrow to build a peaceful and sustainable world, in particular by achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. Our volunteers are key agents of change, citizens who are mobilised to embody this fight and our mission on the ground.

Get involved with Action Education, is joining a committed community to share a rich, collective experience and a human adventure. It's also about sharing and living solidarity by taking part in a wide range of missions to defend access to quality education for everyone, and more particularly for the vulnerable and marginalised populations that we support around the world.
No international volunteering
In the countries where it operates - in Africa, Asia and Europe (excluding France) - Action Education relies exclusively on local skills and expertise. does not send expatriates, volunteers or international volunteers into the field.
Why do we do this? Because our mission is to build local capacity around the challenges of education, and because we see a project and its impact as a whole: recruiting locally contributes to local human and economic development. As for our volunteer teams in the countries where we work, they rely on the commitment of local populations and thus reinforce our vision of global citizen involvement.

Raising awareness?
In schools, socio-cultural structures or at events (film debates, conferences, shows, etc.): an essential mission to raise awareness of the challenges of education for all and to support change through education for citizenship and international solidarity on themes such as gender, the right to a healthy environmentmigration, gender, living together...

On stands, at public events, all over France: communication is essential to arouse interest, create links and encourage others to join or support us.

Tutored projects
If you are a student and would like to carry out your tutored project with Action Education, you can send an e-mail to [email protected]. Introduce yourself and your project, as well as the administrative aspects (partnership agreement, mentor, duration, number of people involved, schedule, etc.).
Volunteering on an ad hoc basis and offering entertainment
Do you have the opportunity to carry out an awareness-raising, communication and/or fund-raising project on a one-off basis and would like to support Action Education? Then don't hesitate! Contact us at [email protected] and tell us about your project so that we can discuss it together.
Volunteering at the Action Education head office
To support our salaried teams in their work. It's a commitment that can't be made on a one-off basis: you need to be available for at least half a day a week over the long term. Depending on your needs and skills, you can volunteer in all areas of the association (organising events, carrying out administrative tasks, etc.).
