In continuation to Aide et Action South Asia’s efforts of influencing policies for migrant children at state and central governments of India, a Central North Zone consultation on ‘Rights, Education, Entitlements and Protection of Migrant Children’ was organized in Bhopal on 24th November 2017. The meet was organized jointly in collaboration with Madhya Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MPSCPCR). Representatives of SCPCRs of Delhi, Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh states along with child rights activists and government officials attended the consultation to discuss on the plight of migrant children and the various issues that need to be addressed by the government to improve the living conditions of migrants and their families.
